4. The surface has chemically stable, dense structure of alumina film, most aluminum alloys in fresh water, seawater, nitrates and various organic matter corrosion resistance is very good. But this alumina film can be destroyed by chloride and alkali ions.
5. Good die casting performance, good surface roughness and good hot cracking.
Aluminum processing is common, such as screens, aluminum windows, etc. The extrusion molding process, that is, raw materials such as aluminum ingots are melted in the blast furnace and extruded to the mold by the extruder, and steel of various cross-sections can be extruded.
The main properties are determined by strength, hardness and wear resistance according to the national standard GB6063. The advantages are that the weight is only 2.8, no rust, fast design changes, low mold input, and the longest depth is more than 10 meters. The layman thinks that thicker is tougher, but in fact it is wrong.
The quality of the aluminium machined surface also has insurmountable defects (warpage, deformation, black lines, convex and concave, white lines). The high level of designers and the reasonable mold design and production process can prevent such defects from being noticed. The inspection defect should be judged according to the inspection method stipulated by the state, that is, the line of sight 40 ~ 50 cm. Aluminum processing is widely used in furniture: screen skeletons, various hanging beams, table legs, decorative rods, handles, silhouettes and covers, chair tubes, etc., the design and application are changeable!
Although aluminum processing has many advantages, it also has undesirable points.
Unoxidized aluminum is easy to "rust", resulting in reduced performance, and the longitudinal strength is not as good as that of iron products. The abrasion resistance of the surface oxide layer is easier to scratch than the electroplating layer. The cost is high, relatively speaking, the cost of iron products is about 3~4 times higher.
Compared with die-casting alloy and profile processing methods, the equipment used is different.
