Precision machining is a process of changing the external dimensions or properties of a workpiece with processing machinery. According to the temperature state of the workpiece to be processed, it is divided into cold working and hot working. Generally, it is processed at room temperature and does not cause chemical or physical phase changes of the workpiece is called cold working. Generally, processing above or below normal temperature will cause chemical or physical phase changes of the workpiece, which is called thermal processing. Cold working can be divided into cutting processing and pressure machining according to the difference in processing methods. Hot working is commonly used in heat treatment, calcination, casting and welding.

1. Strictly abide by the operating procedures and wear the prescribed labor protection supplies.

2. Familiar with drawings and relevant process requirements, fully understand the geometry and size requirements of the parts processed.

3. Pick according to the material specifications required by the drawing process, and check whether the materials meet the requirements of the process.

4. Choose the right machining tool.

5. For the processed parts, prepare the required measuring tools.

6. Check whether the equipment is normal and the safety protection is complete, fill each lubricating oil hole, and check the empty operation of the equipment.

7. Clamping corrects the workpiece, and the clamping is reliable.

8. Normal processing according to process requirements.

9. Do a good job of process self-inspection.

10. After processing, after mutual inspection, call the inspector for special inspection.

11. After the operation is completed, immediately clean up the oil swarf on the equipment and the work site, and the parts are placed neatly.

12. Turn off the power and do a good job of equipment maintenance.
